Viña Apaltagua receives scores from Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar

Recently the scores were released from the latest version of the publication Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar, from the recognized American Critic Stephen Tanzer. Annually, the publication tastes and scores wines from around the world, on a 100-70 point scale.

Four wines from Apaltagua were included in the Chile tasting, and received the following scores:

  • Apaltagua Reserva Carmenere 2012, Valle de Colchagua, 88 points.
  • Apaltagua Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon2011, Valle de Colchagua, 88 points.
  • Apaltagua Signature Cabernet Sauvignon 2011, Valle del Maipo, 90 points.
  • Apaltagua Signature Cabernet Sauvignon 2010, Valle del Maipo, 89 points.

Apaltagua is proud to be included and for having received such great scores, especially in an increasingly competitive and demanding industry. It is great motivation to continue producing quality wines, constantly aiming to find the best terroir for each grape variety.
