Apaltagua Wines in Annual Wines of Chile Awards 2013

With a total of 6 medals, Viña Apaltagua was recognized during AWOCA 2013, or the Annual Wines of Chile Awards, a competition that each year, invites a select group of national and international judges to participate, and taste the best wines in Chile.

The Apaltagua wines that won medals this year are:

– Gold Medal, Apaltagua Colección Pinot Noir 2012
– Silver Medal, Tutunjian Single Vineyard 2011
– Bronze Medals, Apaltagua Envero Gran Reserva 2011, Reserva Merlot 2012, Reserva Rose 2013, and Reserva Sauvignon Blanc 2013.

Rodrigo Abarzúa, General Manager of the Winery, explained “we are very proud of the results achieved this year, which highlight the quality of our wines in a competitive and selective industry. This is, without doubt, great motivation with which to begin 2014, and we will continue working with the same effort, and continuing our current oenological project to find the best terroirfor each specific grape variety.”
