Apaltagua Wines in Guía Mujer y Vino 2014 (Women and Wine)

The results were recently released for the 2014 edition of the Guía Mujer y Vino, or Women and Wine Guide, from Ana María Barahona. More than 1200 wines were blind-tasted, and the best were selected and divided into 13 categories. The best in each category were named “Winners”, having received the highest score respectively. Only 14% of the wines tasted were named Winners.

Additionally, the wines with scores equal or better than 88 points were named as “recommended”. Wines with lower scores will not be published, considering that the objective of the guide is to recommend the best wines available in the Chilean market.

We are proud to announce that 3 of Apaltagua’s wines were WINNERS in their categories. These wines are:

• Riesling Reserva Blanco año 2013 (Curicó)
• Sauvignon Blanc Reserva año 2013 (San Antonio)
• Carmenere Reserva 2012 (Colchagua)
