Maipo Valley:
Guest House and Vineyards, San Juan de Pirque

Just a short distance from Santiago, at the foot of the Andes Mountain Range is the area of San Juan de Pirque. This sector of “Maipo Cordillera” is known for the quality of its red wines, particularly the Cabernet Sauvignon variety.

Here is where we have our guest house. Built in 1875, the neoclassical-style house is beautifully adorned with interior stuccos and  hand-painted exteriors done by Italian artisans. It is surrounded by a dense centenary park of native and European trees. In 2011, the planting of Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards was initiated.
